To carry out its mission and fulfill its objectives, YAL has developed an integrated value chain of Dialogue Exchange or Forums by involving world leaders in communities, inspiring them with strategic insights and enabling them through regional and global initiatives. While business and political leaders make up the majority of participants at these forums, various regional and international NGO organizations also attend these events.
YAL has organized Annual Forums in the region that bring together all members of YAL once a year, to review and improve upon the year’s progress, to share experiences and enhance future progress. They focus on enhancing and developing the effectiveness of YAL to identify and address critical issues confronting the Arab World especially those relating to education, leadership and socio-economic development and to recognize significant synergies and areas of cooperation and exchange within the region.
YAL has also organized Global Action Forums in countries such as the US, Germany and Singapore which bought together government, business, academia, and civil society leaders for a two-day event. They served as platforms for highly focused discussions and debates and provided a breeding ground for YAL programs and initiatives. The Forums provide opportunities to promote dialogue, expand knowledge and exchange information amongst our region and other key regions around the world.
