The second Y AL Global Action Forum:Arab and American Dialogue was held on 14- 15 March 2008 in New York.Over 200 Arab and American leaders from government, business, academia and civil society participating to promote understanding and communication through an action oriented dialogue. Panel sessions considered a number of important subjects for dialogue between the Arab world and the US including:
Entrepreneurship, Global Action Institute, Arab American Business Fellowship Program and Media as a Bridge between Cultures. The second Y AL Global Action Forum in New Y ork was the stimulus for the creation of several new programs and
initiatives as well as the expansion of existing programs to address issues of concern in the United States and Arab nations. The results of this Forum will intensify the commitment to make positive
changes related to things that matter to and are of benefit to youth.

The first Y AL Global Action Forum: Arab and European Dialogue was held with the endorsement of His Royal Highness Prince Feisal Ibn Al Hussein in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. 100 Arab and European Leaders and achievers participated in the two- day Forum.
The theme of the Forum—‘ Expanding A venues of Mutual Cooperation’—suggested that existing avenues were ripe for growth and that bilateral (i. e.,
non- mutual) contributions to the relationship would be adequate to build positive action,going forward.In fact, mutual cooperation strongly underlined the
various sessions, where participants were motivated by exploring alternatives that resulted in “win- win” solutions.
Three main topics: Innovation, Science and
Technology, and Social Responsibility guided the dialogue and focused leaders on creating substantive initiatives that would benefit Europe and the Arab world.

The third YAL Annual Forum was held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Commander- in- Chief of
the Bahrain Defence Force.
The aim of the Forum was to generate a blueprint of action points for YAL to follow in 2008 that would drive new initiatives, new projects and new internal systems
to enhance the outcomes for Arab youth.
Unlike previous Annual Forums, those participating were exclusively YAL Members, to ensure more
focused discussions. The two day forum was attended by more than 200 delegates. The main topics of the Annual Forum included the following: Environment, Innovation, and Best Practice.
